Ultra-pure water from the Emerald Coast owned by a Florida woman is available nationwide
Emerald Coast Ultra Pure Water, the only female-owned bottled water brand in Florida, is now just a click away. Thanks to its recent partnership with leading online retailer Walmart.com, anyone can order ultra-pure Pensacola Emerald Coast water anytime, anywhere.
“I knew we would be online someday,” said MSP Inc. vice president of sales Daniel Rogers. “I believe in our brand and in the passion and tenacity that I must never give up.”
According to Rogers, when prospecting for high-volume retailers, it’s not as easy as pitching the product and making it available the next day. Emerald Coast Ultra Pure Water’s partnership with Walmart marked the end of a 10-month verification process, which involved several meetings with company management, contingency plans, delayed deadlines and management. of the current pandemic.
“There are great opportunities in online sales and e-commerce,” Rogers said. “The pandemic has shown us that buying anything online is as easy as going to a physical store and picking it up yourself. Walmart’s third-quarter e-commerce revenue grew 6% year-over-year. But online sales grew 103% over two years, thanks to a pandemic-fueled outbreak in 2020. ”

Rogers also hopes that the introduction of Ultra Pure Emerald Coast Water to new audiences and customers will encourage them to visit Pensacola and the surrounding area.
“We are now a national brand that promotes the Emerald Coast through its water,” said Rogers. “People who have come here to visit can now order ultra pure water from the Emerald Coast from the comfort of their homes. When it snows in the Midwest, they can order our water and think of the beach.
But it’s not just feelings of love and longing for the beach that Rogers hopes to summon up with his new clientele. He also wants to show them what sets Emerald Coast Ultra Pure Water apart from the rest – its packaging.
“As always, our 100% recyclable BPA-free hard bottle can be used multiple times without being thrown or crumpled under pressure,” said Rogers. “Our aluminum bottle will keep the water colder 3X longer, is 100% sustainable, 100% recyclable and 100% reusable, and makes the transition from plastic bottles easier. Both bottle options have a positive environmental impact.
MSP Inc., the owner-distributor of Emerald Coast Ultra Pure Water, has also partnered with Georgia-based KeHE Distributors to complete their anticipated national application.
“They will take care of all the online sales accomplishments for Walmart,” said Rogers. “KeHE Distributors are the second largest DSD Distributor in the country and have customers like Walmart, Publix, FRY’s, Kroger, Target, Giant Foods and Whole Foods, for example.”
Even though Emerald Coast Ultra Pure Water is now officially on the national stage, that doesn’t mean Rogers will stop pursuing local businesses and retailers.
“We want to partner with local businesses of all types that sell bottled water,” Rogers said. “If a consumer doesn’t see us in a grocery store or convenience store, they should ask us. ”
