Senator Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita) recognized local firm QM Design Group as the 21st Senate District Small Business of the Month for December.

QM Design Group is a local Santa Clarita design agency working on graphic design, website design, and branding led by Hillary Broadwater who is the creative president of the marketing agency for nearly 15 years old.

“I am happy to recognize Hillary and her marketing agency as the 21st Small Business of the Month for the Senate District, ”Wilk said. When she’s not typing on her keyboard to create a visual voice for entrepreneurs and nonprofits, Hillary gives back to the community by volunteering for a variety of nonprofits, including one of my favorite, Circle of Hope. “

Each month, Senator Wilk chooses a business that goes above and beyond to have their community recognized as the Small Business of the Month.

“California has 3.7 million small businesses, and it’s no secret that these job creators are the economic engines of growth in our state,” Wilk said. “The pandemic has had a financial impact on many of these businesses where some 19,000 have closed. “

Earlier this year, Senator Wilk acknowledged Circle of Hope Cancer Support Center as California 21’s Nonprofit of the Yearst Senate District.
