No one wants to think of themselves as average, but that’s exactly what Natalie is! She is the average western woman’s dress size 14-16. She is over 40 and smart enough to use the “average” to her advantage.
She works with brands and tries on their clothes so you can see what they look like on a real 14-16.
âThe idea came to me to feel really lost and alone after having my son, and I had an emergency cesarean and my stomach really changed. I lost confidence in my appearance for the first time, âshe says.
âI had a buy, sell and trade page on Facebook where we would discuss a particular brand and I was just trying to show them, ‘With this particular style I’m actually in a size, very small for god’s sake. But in this particular dress, I will be doubling extra large, in the same brand. I thought, I wonder what would happen if I did this with different brands and retailers? This is how it happened, âshe says.
Let’s face it, if you’re over 40, have boobs and butt looking at a size 8 six foot airbrushed line model will never represent what you look like.
âExactly! Plus, women over 40 are completely ignored. In my opinion, fashion marketing hasn’t changed much in the past 30 years. I think this needs to be reviewed. Women want to. content that can be told, âsays Natalie.

Natalie says that brands and labels need diversity and to celebrate all women. Women need to know that they don’t have to look one way to be beautiful.
âYou don’t have to look a certain way to be fashionable. I say it’s BS, âshe laughs. Today she wears a sequined skirt and a leather biker jacket.
âMost women would say glitter is for the night,â she says. “I have a five year old who I don’t go out at night! So I make it work for me.”
Her biggest fashion tip is simple: âDress to match your figure. Nothing else matters if you can figure out your figure. Understanding your body shape is really important. Then focus on it. enhancing what you want to showcase, rather than on the cover. “
Prior to her social media fame, Natalie worked in sales, so it feels natural. Since launching 12 months ago, Natalie’s Daily Videos have garnered 3.5 million impressions per month. In technical terms, that’s a lot of eyes on a lot of outfits.
âI make a video every day, so it’s my full-time job now and I’m full until the end of September,â she says. She is very firm if she gets a negative reaction from trolls or sneaky people.

âI don’t accept online harassment or online meanness. If anyone makes derogatory comments about me, the clothes or the brand, they are deleted and blocked. My target market on my Instagram is 35 to 54 years old. So my thought process is if you are a 35 year old woman you have to know how to get your point across without offending or being rude. If you are mean you are gone, “she said.
