ePallet, the country’s largest online wholesale consumables marketplace, has hired two new, experienced food professionals to lead the company’s regional sales teams.

Using its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) -based web platform, ePalette disrupts the traditional wholesale business model by providing customers with direct, user-friendly access to a more efficient and cost effective way to buy and sell food and consumables in full pallet increments. ePallet offers its customers a wide selection of natural, organic, specialty and conventional foods, beverages and other consumer products with no hidden charges.

Janette Carpentier joins the team as the new Regional Vice President of Sales for the Eastern United States. Based in New Jersey, Janette is a former senior director of business development for the northeast region of the world’s leading foodservice company ISS. In this role, she excelled in developing relationships with key accounts. Prior to that, Carpentier worked at US Foods on new business opportunities and for national food service companies including Aramark and The Compass Group, leading educational partnerships in the Northeast.

Carpentier reached the President’s Club in Aramark by exceeding targets by more than 25% above $ 16M. She also led a sales and marketing team for the Mid Atlantic Dairy Association. Janette has a degree in Nutrition and a Masters in Business and Organization Management and lives in New Jersey with her husband Brian and daughter Meghan.

Additionally, ePallet is pleased to welcome Patrick J. Renzi, a California food industry veteran with over 35 years of experience. Renzi joined ePallet as Regional Vice President of Sales for the Western United States. He previously served as the National Education Sales Director of Acosta Sales & Marketing, a national food service company, where his former team generated more than $ 18 million in revenue per year.

Renzi has worked as a Director of Food Services in various Southern California school districts, most recently the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, where he oversaw 17 school sites, supervised 75 staff, with daily attendance from 4,400 people for breakfast and lunch.

He also worked as the Senior Director of Food and Supply Services at the California Institute of Technology / Jet Propulsion Lab, Pasadena, Calif., Where he oversaw and managed Caltech’s student and staff catering program as well as five other retail restaurant operations – a $ 4 million restaurant service purchasing service.

Over the course of his career, Renzi has been successful in maintaining and increasing established sales at colleges, universities, healthcare, restaurants, school districts, and hotels in Southern California. Renzi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix as well as several certifications including School Nutrition Association School Certification and the Experior / Premier Food Safety Certified Professional Food Manager. He currently lives in Long Beach, California with his wife, Jennie.
