4 Vintage Lakewood / East Dallas Items Online Garage Sale

Instead of looking for the latest trends, some might focus on the past.

At least, that’s what some of our neighbors in the Lakewood / East Dallas Online Garage Sale group are doing.

There have been several vintage items that have circulated recently, and we want to show them to you.

A neighbor is hoping that this 1940s or 1950s Magnavox Embassy TV-radio-phono will go to an interested buyer for $ 800 or a good deal. He sells it as is, which includes some minor cosmetic issues on pimples and other places. But he wrote on the list that the item has been stored safely for a long time.

Another neighbor, Annie Caropresi-O’Connor, has several vintage pieces for sale.

One is this dresser with an attached mirror made by Davis Cabinet Co. in 1949. The seller says the item has been in his family ever since. The drawers are in working order, although the part shows a few nicks and scratches.

She listed it for $ 900.

This stool is available for $ 65. As seen in the photo and noted in the description it has a few scuffs and could use a bit of work. The legs wobble, but the cushion is apparently comfortable. It is approximately 16 inches high, 18 inches wide and 15 inches deep.

This stool could be matched with this Victorian balloon back chair, with its light pink velvet cushion. Caropresi-O’Connor wrote on the list that the frame is sturdy, but the wood has a few scratches. The color of the cushion fades with age and one side of the underside of the cushion is loose.

It is available for $ 60.

Chairs are often sold on this Facebook group, including these Chromcraft chairs from 1966.
